B2C Marketing Implementer - Agriculture Sector
No. of Positions:
Develop a unique Shell CVP to gain entry into the Agriculture sector. Successfully manage the Rimula and Grease portfolio and ensure full implementation of the country brand strategy in this sector, in alignment with regional and global strategy. Develop, monitor and share Market/competitors/ customer knowledge and define a detailed and effective marketing plan in alignment with Shell Distributors, Co-Ops and Brand & Communication specialist, translating the global initiatives into local calendar implementation. Manage the owned brand and act as first interface with LSC/Sales/Finance in the country.
Set brand priorities for the sector
Be a real strategic player, able to anticipate trends and to set the future of the brands and channels in the category and to inspire sales teams in the growth journey of the country.
Drive and implement category strategy with customers
Develop, maintain and implement the brand /sector strategies covering:
Pricing (Cross and Multi-channel)
Training including Product & Sector knowledge and sales skills
Integrated marketing communications plan, including Marketing calendar, in cooperation with B&C
Develop and manage successful sell in and sell out campaign for the owned brands
Monitor competitive activity, market changes and trends, making recommendations to adjust strategy as required
Work with the Shell distributor network and Co-Ops to unlock numeric distribution, market and value share in this sector.
Develop a stakeholder matrix of decision makers/ influencers within this sector.
Ensure all marketing activities are evaluated in terms of return on investment (ROI) and a Pre and Post Investment Review (PIR) is disciplined implemented
Work closely with the Marketing Planning and PLM (Product Life Management) team in order to continuously assess the range, profitability and performance of the product portfolio to meet the sector and market needs.
Support Pricing team in the establishment of competitor price collection processes and especially translating the competitor positioning prescribed in the brand maps into the collection process
To be able to implement simultaneous activities and programs on time and on budget, producing the agreed top line growth.
The “Fewer Bigger Better” mentality is a must for the role.
Success in this role will require a close relationship with other country marketing implementers in the region, as well as with local sales and technical team in the country.
Driving marketing towards new digital channels whilst still deploying ‘traditional’ channels and communication streams.

Experience & Qualifications required:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing / Sales with understanding of the appropriate marketing tools and principles
Proven track record of success in commercial business activities; sales or marketing.
Strong business analytical and problem solving skills, commercial mindset.
Able to work independently and with limited supervision, highly self-motivated and able to effectively manage various competing priorities.
Strong project management skills required.
Strong interface / stakeholder management skills and proven ability to work with influence and lead diverse teams outside the line as well as delivering results through others.
Ability to think strategically and to translate new concepts into operational plans
Strong proven commercial skills and judgment
Strong customer orientation
Ability to manage complex projects and handle numerous relationships
Strong interpersonal and excellent organizational skills
