Hilton Marketing Communications Executive in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
A Marketing Communications Executive, will coordinate the web, Public Relations/ad, and creative to promote our products and goodwill to external business partners and individual customers. Internally, will be responsible for the handling of all communication with the other departments to assist with their marketing needs to help them achieve their objectives.
What will I be doing?
As a Makerting Communications Executive, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Copy writing, proofreading, and translation for Web campaign, mail magazine, press release, ad and creative collateral
- Communicate with vendors and help manage outsourcing projects
- Assist in the management of purchase orders
- Promotion code application, internal notification of media coverage
- Support Public Relations agency to execute annual Public Relations activities including daily media relations, media sales calls and pitches, press conferences, media shootings and press tours
- Coordinate internal activities and communications, such as media shooting arrangement with national /regional teams and Public Relations agency
- Develop necessary collateral materials and media proofreading
- Research for recent timeshare and hotel market for the Public Relations perspective
What are we looking for?
-Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Marketing orPublic Relations/ Hotel Management
-Possess at least 1-2 years working experience,preferably in a related field.
-Has excellent command of written and verbalEnglish.
-Has an excellent organizational and interpersonalskill.
-Possess knowledge of hotel general facilities,outlet and meeting room capacities, audio visual and any other details relatedto hotel product knowledge
-Possess knowledge and awareness of the localmarket and competition
-Possess computer skills, including MicrosoftWord, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to learn new computer systems andprocesses.
-Possess good listening and communication skills,ability to build relationship with and gain trust from other people, ability toempathise and understand others, negotiation skills to influence others, remainprofessionally groomed at all times
-Able to present information logically andconfidently verbally and in written form.
-Able to display commercial awareness, andcontinuously deliver the best revenue and profit outcomes for the hotel
-Ability to achieve set goals and targets. Aconcern for working toward a common goal and committing to excel in attainingall key business objectives
-Ability to prioritise and manage own personaltime efficiently within tight schedules. Looks ahead and makes forecastsconcerning market trends to set demanding but realistic targetshimself/herself.
-Ability to consistently deliver quality work andresults, and sensibly resolve problems should it arise
-Ability to network, build and maintain friendlycontacts with people who can impact business positively and help achievebusiness goals
