_Your Role:_ * Responsibility for operations and maintenance of the Hospital/ Medical Office Buildings. * Coordinate and direct the department to ensure continuous efficient and economical operations of the hospital’s building and equipment. * Direct and manage the department staff to assure quality service and promoting teamwork. * Responsible for the department meeting JCAHO Standards, complying with hospital policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment.

_Minimum Education and Experience:_ * Associates Degree or 2 years of technical school is required; in lieu of education, a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role will be considered with a required minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare environment.

_Statement of Conditions:_

  1. Qualifications for Individual Completing the SOC
    • The individual performing the physical survey of the facility and completing the SOC must have an appropriate educational or background or be qualified through a combination of experience and training. Acceptable qualifications can be established through a combination of a minimum of the following:
    • 10 years experience in the management of a healthcare facility, formal training (through continuation of seminars, attendance or certification examination) in NFPA 101, 99, 90A, 72 and 13, or certification as a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) or Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM).
