Marsh & McLennan HR Coordinator in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:

Support the HR team throughout the employee life cycle:

New hire onboarding Job status changes, organizational changes, leaves of absence Separation; Responsible for the new hire onboarding process including provide a welcoming experience for all new colleagues, first day scheduling and onboarding, and accurately process all relevant new hire paperwork; Serve as the primary facilitator of the policies and procedures portion of New Hire Orientation and serve as a backup for the other portions of HR orientation; Administration of the employee change process for updates to the HRIS/Payroll system (i.e. – new hires, job changes, promotions, leave of absence, terminations, etc.); Responsible for creating colleague status change letters as directed by the Recruiting or HR Generalist teams; Provide communications of employee changes to the Finance and HR teams for updates to the timekeeping, performance management, and other internal applications; Responsible for the colleague separation off boarding HR processes including drafting termination communications and resolving any colleague inquires; Serve as the primary contact for any colleague leaves of absence and coordination of the leave of absence processes; Administration of the service anniversary award program; Maintain the HR Q&A email mailbox to ensure timely responses to colleague inquiries; Respond to HR inquiries from colleagues and managers while demonstrating a high level of urgency and follow through from employees and managers on a variety of HR matters including policy and procedures, compensation, employee benefits and other related HR issues; Assists with the creating of HR reports from the HRIS and performance management systems; Assists with drafting HR communications for company-wide announcements on the company intranet site or email communications; Serve as the backup Halogen Performance Management administrator; Maintain HR filing system to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal audit requirements; Support the talent acquisition, learning & development, and generalist teams within the HR organization as needed; Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience is required PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of Human Resources experience Combination of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and HR Internship experience will be considered Demonstrated experience in a customer or client services environment Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
