Senior Business Architect aligns strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives. The Senior Business Architect will provide input that supports the achievement of key goals, planning and execution of various business scenarios, and delivery of bottom line business value. The Senior Business Architect works to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.The incumbent will provide leadership in process and talent development to maximize the quality and quantity of work delivered through the organization and management of data to drive data driven processes, decision making and risk awareness.
Define and implement process improvements through data insights and automation to increase efficiencies and reduce human error. Recommend efficiencies and assist in technology decisions through the use of supporting data analytics. Develop a structured business architecture strategy and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise, based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios. Define the data shared across the enterprise, business context, objectives and the relationships between those data. Identify business needs and business processes. Ensure solutions selected or developed across the business units support the needs and goals of end users and stakeholders throughout the organization. Create, maintain, and enhance business architecture models demonstrating how customer systems, data, and metrics interoperate within the organization Conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, system enhancement, or solution procurement Utilize DMAIC, Six Sigma, or LEAN improvement methodologies to conduct end-to-end operational process reviews and drive improvements that result and leverage best practices. Provide reports to management and internal partners to explain business project status, issues, risks and timeline, and any changes to original plans. Over 10 years of relevant work experience as a Business Architect / Product Owner / Process Owner/ Product Manager working with complex programs and/or cross-functional initiatives. Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits brokerage and insurance, benefits consulting or benefits administration is required. Knowledge and skills:
Expert experience in business architecture, business requirements definition, process mapping and process re-engineering skills. Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques. Advanced knowledge of and ability to perform analyses such as GAP analysis, root-cause analysis, risk analysis and requirements gathering. Technical expertise regrading data models, database design, and data analytics Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
