IBM eCommerce Senior Architect in KISTA, Sweden

We believe that you are either interested in leading development teams and being responsible for the architecture of a solution or want to pursue a deep specialization in an area such as web performance or cognitive computing.
Whatever your preference is, you’ll have the opportunity to work on big challenges, building simple solutions to complex problems. To give you a taste of what you could be working on, our team is currently building one of the largest e-commerce solutions in the world, developing an iOS cabin-crew app for an airline company and developing models analysing data from IoT devices to detect and prevent failure in mines.
What you will do:
Work in teams with clients, project management, user experience and visual designers to craft delightful user experiences
Design and implement globally scalable software applications, web sites or mobile apps, depending on your field of specialty
Contribute to the technical vitality of IBM
Mentor and lead developers with less experience than yourself
In this role, you will have the opportunity to practice technical leadership, both in shaping architecture and design of the software solutions you work on, as well-being a role model in the technical community at IBM.
You are someone who has a keen grasp of the principles of software development and can quickly apply that to various technologies and frameworks. You understand web architecture and you have a strong point of view on how to run a software development project. You’re comfortable thinking about and communicating trade-offs when it comes to software design.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Shown history of achievement in software implementation projects
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Eager to continuously adopt new challenges, able to perform without full experience and always interested in learning the new
Authorized to work in Sweden
Willingness and ability to travel up to 4 days a week
English and Sweden fluent.
