Marsh & McLennan Insurance Assistant- Personal Lines in Kitchener, Ontario

The Operations Specialist provides support to Client Facing Brokers with post placement policy validation reviews of all the various insurance transactions (i.e. new business, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, reissues, claims, account statements). Responsible for the maintenance of accurate policy and financial client records through automate interface with the carriers and/or where necessary manual updating of client records. Execute the processing of all new business applications for Marsh’s Senior Tenant’s Program. Provide assistance to client facing brokers by retrieving any necessary insurance reports (i.e. motor vehicle reports, HITS and/or Autoplus) in order to underwrite the file accurately. And handle the scanning, attaching and assignment of all client correspondence. Back up to Office Associate/Reception as required. Post Placement Validation Administration, Documentation & Review Ensure timely and accurate post placement policy validation and processing of: New Business, Renewals and Endorsements Cancellations & Reinstatements Responsible for maintaining accurate policy & financial client records thru download and/or manual updating application details Retrieve missing client documents from the carrier portals and update client file Notify service/sales of premium variances to reach out to clients Remain current on outstanding documentation follow ups Request and Respond: Motor Vehicle Reports, Report Preparation, Mail and Communication Centre: Ensure timely and accurate production/processing of: Month End Reports Customized client communication i.e. automated renewal letter generation Timely scanning, attaching and assignment of incoming mail Provide support to Office Associate /reception Workflow Administration Contribute to the achievement of Operations team Service Level Agreements (SLA) , Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and business objectives Manage and prioritize own workload to meet individual SLA, KPI and Quality targets. Customer Awareness Maintain a basic technical understanding of all major classes of Insurance and specialist services that the Company offers to its customers Maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation Work with Senior Operations Services Executive and Operations Services Team Leader to identify continuous improvement opportunities within operational processes Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
