Responsibilities:

  • manage the execution of payroll operations cycle - assign resources, complete all required checks, raise escalations 

  • manage customer service to ensure TAT and quality results meet the expectations 

  • lead the team of 3 processors (including admin activities like managing the holiday planning) 

  • act as Ops lead for assigned projects 

  • act as Ops manager backup

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese speaker 

  • Solid payroll experience (alternatively HR ops experience) 

  • Exposure to direct interactions with the customer 

  • Strong communications skills (ability to present complex issues or concepts in a clear and structured way, ability to influence the audience) 

  • Ability to build strong relations within BPO and with the customer 

  • Strong work ethic (integrity, open mind, quality of work, constructive approach to problems) 

  • Leadership experience and potential (experience can be short and with a small team, potential to take over more senior role in the future)

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese speaker
