Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Work within an engagement team responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations. Deliver and deploy custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, and production deployment. Work with onshore and offshore development models to implement standard methodologies including Peer Review Process, Test Readiness Process, Test Case Standards, and Coding Standards. Work with legacy systems on health insurance domains including Member Enrollment, Provider, Benefits, Billing and Commission. Using COBOL, CICS, DB2, REXX and JCL Programming Language for code development and unit testing and mentoring users through technical sessions on programming languages. Utilize Mainframe tools including Endevor, Changeman, Ezedit, INFOMAN, ICETOOL, DFSORT, File Aid, File Manager, Xpeditor, and Control-M/CA Scheduler. Conduct defect prevention sessions and track defects using JIRA. Research and implement automation tools and techniques to increase efficiency of products and decrease turnaround time for business processes. Work with development methodologies including Agile and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and create Epic and Stories for Agile development methodology. Develop technical, user documentation and process change flows using VISIO for functionalities implemented by projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Applications Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related field.

  • Two years of experience as a Project Delivery Specialist, a Technology Analyst, or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Delivering and deploying custom developed applications for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, and production deployment;

  • Working with onshore and offshore development models to implement standard methodologies including Peer Review Process, Test Readiness Process, Test Case Standards, and Coding Standards;

  • Working with legacy systems on health insurance domains including Member Enrollment, Provider, Benefits, Billing and Commission;
