Job Summary

AECOM has a dynamic opportunity available for an outgoing, high-energy individual to be a part of an exciting program within our Transportation Demand Management (TDM) group in Clark County, Nevada! In this position, you will be a member of the Club Ride team which manages the Clark County transportation demand management (TDM) program at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. This program aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by encouraging Clark County residents to use green, active transportation modes such as carpooling, public transportation and bicycling. As a Club Ride Intern you will be responsible for assisting in the areas of Outreach, marketing, administration, and project management

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with preparing materials for tabling events, presentations, and other types of outreach events

  • Assist by working at tabling events to promote the Club Ride program to local commuters

  • Assist in the marketing department with social media topic research, marketing projects, review and refresh marketing materials

  • Assist the administration team with data entry, organizing databases, and contacting Club Ride winners and database validation calls

  • Assist the project manager with expanding the discount vendor program

  • Assist the project manager with various projects as required for program

  • Assist with the maintenance of kiosks and other reporting mechanisms

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a local accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, Public Health, hospitality or other related major. Other majors will be considered if candidate has a desire to work in Event Management, Outreach, Marketing, or Transportation

  • Articulate and energetic individual and comfortable conducting public promotional/marketing and encouragement activities

  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills and experience in handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner

  • Ability to achieve objectives through teamwork

  • Must have current valid driver’s license

  • General office environment; may require visits to project and event sites

  • Some heavy lifting (<30 lbs) may be required

  • Field office work will require a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record

  • Typical office hours are Monday- Thursday, however some evenings, Fridays and Saturdays may be requested
