Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor PRN

Position Summary:

This position acts as the Administrator of the hospital in the absence of management during evenings, nights and weekends. They are responsible for staffing, emergency direction and handling complaints appropriately. It is their responsibility to notify the Administrator on call of any emergent situations that might jeopardize the facility or as required by policy/protocol. This position is responsible for immediate counseling employees for actions that are against policy.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education: Graduate of Professional School of Nursing, BSN preferred

    Licensure/Certifications: Must hold a current license from the Missouri Board of Nursing. BLS upon hire & ACLS within 6 months of hire. NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 90 days of hire and annually within the fiscal year.

    Experience : 3-5 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment. 1-2 years as a charge nurse or other management position preferred. Critical Care experience preferred.
