Responsible for the development, implementation, administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one or more of the following areas: employment, compensation, benefits, HR operations, employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development Manages a professional staff.
Play an important role in leading the HR group as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Develop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., benefit programs, manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment). Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. Successful track record as a generalist and manager. BA/BS degree.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Who You Are:
We are looking for a Director of Global University Technical Programs to lead our Global University Technical campus events and early in career programs initiatives in AMER and JAPAC with opportunity to assist additional regional programs. This role will partner closely with Oracle university recruiting regional leaders, human resource and business program management staff to understand program expectations and develop data-driven event strategies. You will collaborate with Oracle university recruiters, business client groups, hiring managers and interview teams to create spirited and effective campus representation, to include technology, social media and employment branding. Essentially delivering exceptional experiences both on and off campus (in-person and virtual).
What You’ll Do:
Develop new, innovative, scalable and effective end to end experiences to nurture top talent from key universities and other recruiting channels.
Design, build and execute innovative and strategic events during the campus recruiting seasons and summer program timelines. Create a strategy that identifies, attracts, and retains talent through traditional and non-traditional experiences.
Bring regional alliance to build a cohesive global technical university recruiting program.
Understand the company’s need for early career talent and the evolving external landscape and partner with Campus Recruiting leaders, recruiters and program managers to craft and develop engagement strategies
Build relationships cross functionally with corporate events, communications and marketing teams, PR, employment legal, finance and more as it pertains to the program in order to drive a media/marketing plan and to build awareness of the Oracle employment brand.
Build and sustain positive and productive relationships with internal stakeholders, alumni, student organizations, professional associations and diversity groups globally.
Lead, inspire hiring managers to assist in effectively source, recruit, engage and hire early career talent.
Utilize data and metrics to develop standard metrics to evaluate success for all programs and campus initiatives and identify roadblocks, highlight and pivot strategies as necessary
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Hospitality Management.
Ability to travel as needed during peak recruitment cycles (September-October)
8 years work experience in recruiting or talent development. Preferably university recruiting.
3 years work experience building, scaling, coaching, and leading high performing global programs and teams.
Proven success creating and executing end-to-end recruiting strategies for interns and new grads in global markets.
Experience leveraging social media to further company brand and reputation
Data-driven and strong experience with analysis and reporting
Consistent track record of building successful global university recruiting programs and deep subject matter expertise on emerging trends and technologies in this space
Demonstrated experience in successfully collaborating across organization boundaries.
The ability to work collaboratively across all levels and exhibit strong leadership, communication and influencing skills
Demonstrated global technical and industry knowledge and understanding of relevant tech skills, target companies, schools, conferences, and scholarship programs across the globe
Demonstrated capability of superior performance while being a team leader and member, able to handle ambiguity with ease, and able to hunt down answers and drive solutions autonomously
Strong time-management skills, critical thinking skills, experience planning / executing on-campus events, strong communication skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects across various client groups
