Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

We’re looking for a hands-on Offensive Security Technical Program Manager with expertise and passion in solving wicked problems in securing Infrastructure-as-Code. You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and leading a cross-functional program responsible for performing Offensive Security assessments of OCI to meet security objectives.

  • Maintaining and improving team processes to deliver on long-term strategic plan.

  • Informing decision-making processes, assisting in addressing findings to mitigate risk and avoid regression of bug.

  • Translating business objectives into execution strategy, leading and successfully executing the strategy through effective collaboration and agile leadership.

  • Anticipating and aggressively addressing obstacles that slow down or prevent cross-functional programs from delivering on objectives.

  • Monitoring end-to-end processes for recurring pain points and blockers and driving toward resolution.

  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in software security, preferably in a pentest or offensive security role within a provider or large software company, supporting virtualized infrastructure, distributed systems and high-availability services.

  • 2 years of project/program management experience.

  • Deep technical knowledge in one or more of the following: offensive security, cloud architecture, application security, threat and vulnerability management or incident detection and response.

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical members alike.

  • Proactive demeanor and analytically-minded in ambiguity/uncertainty/change.

  • Passionate about raising the security bar

Desired Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office products, such as Excel.

  • 2 years of hands-on security experience securing microservices.

  • Familiarity with process implementation using the Atlassian Suite Products, such as Jira/Confluence to include complex searches, dashboards, nested queries etc.

  • Thorough understanding of agile software development and the infrastructure lifecycle.

  • Functional understanding of the full stack of common security controls from OS through application security controls.

  • Previous white-hat hacking experience.

  • Information Systems or Computer Science Master’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
