Oracle QA Analyst 4-ProdDev in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

About the Technical Architecture team

The Technical Architecture team at Oracle is responsible for working closely with the SaaS, Middleware, Performance, and Life-cycle Management teams towards an optimal solution that will impact millions of Oracle customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Technical Architecture team, you will be facing unique technical challenges at Oracle. You will help drive the overall strategy & architecture of Fusion Applications. We want people who: work well in teams, can brainstorm big ideas, work in new technology areas, thrive in ambiguity, able to drive a concept into a prototype, and can envision how a prototype could transition into a reliable solution.

The ideal candidate would have strong coding skills, previous roles driving architecture convergence on complex SaaS systems, and work collaboratively with experts in different fields to make architectural tradeoffs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related engineering fields.

10 years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong development experience in JavaScript and Java

Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications

Experience delivering highly scalable REST or Microservices

Deep understanding of data structures, designing algorithms, programming patterns, and solving complex issues

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design, and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with developing, designing, and debugging software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in developing new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies significant changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Ten or more years of software engineering or related experience.
