Oracle Solution Principal - NetSuite Services in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Works directly with Consulting sales to analyze customer business needs.

Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment in order to design business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Operates independently by applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, leading practices, and creativity to develop business solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers. Builds and maintains a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge. Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge to implementation team. May lead solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes within one product family; or architects and designs technology solutions that address cross stack issues.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Broad product, technology or industry expertise. Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions. In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions. Ability to travel as needed.

Overview

The Direct Solution Services (DSS) team is responsible for assisting the Direct Sales Organization to maximize Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) while setting the groundwork for successful implementation projects by the Professional Services (PS) Delivery organization. DSS Team Members provide implementation, product and industry thought leadership during the sales cycle. They do this by identifying prospect s business objectives and aligning those to our SuiteSuccess product offerings. This includes scoping, estimating, documenting and communicating the prospect s solution and implementation strategy. DSS Team Members work with a variety of stakeholders including prospect s C-Level executives and Oracle NetSuite s Account Executives, Solution Architects, Delivery and Sales Leadership.

A Solution Principal (SP) brings 3 5 years ofexperience as a successful technology implementation consultant/project manager and 1 2 years experience within a given industry vertical. An SP leverages this experience to support deals within the Mid-Market sales teams, deepening his/her sales, product and industry acumen over time. SPs will support the development of more junior resources and assist them in the sales cycle.

Responsibilities include:/ /

Developing a strong working relationship with the Mid-Market Regional Sales Director and his or her Account Executives (AEs) to whom you are primarily aligned.

Partnering with (AEs) from the Mid-Market Team to independently

o Manage the Sales Motion with the AE to ensure that all required activities are effectively executed

o -{PS..1}->Escalate process exceptions to your manager for visibility and assistance

o Advocate for SuiteSuccess and communicating the advantages it provides to both prospects and the sales team

o -{PS..2}->Understand the competition and win strategy on the deal and utilize that insight to adjust the solution positioning and value proposition

o Translate prospect s business objectives and processes to the SuiteSuccess SKU via the alignment to develop the appropriate scope, estimate and SOW.

o -{PS..3}->Work with the Solution Consultant (SC) to develop a comprehensive understanding of the proposed solution and continue to build product knowledge

o Tailor standard presentations to meet the needs of the specific prospect

o -{PS..4}->Leverage other resources within DSS or other PS teams as appropriate

o Conduct SOW Reviews and deliver the PS Value Proposition to prospects

o -{PS..5}->Handle objections effectively

o Negotiate with prospects regarding inclusions and exclusions to scope

o -{PS..6}->Maintain the PS Engagement Record (PSER) by regularly updating notes related to the deal status, major design changes, estimated hours, SKU, etc.

o Conduct reverse knowledge transfer with the delivery and sales teams

-{PS..7}->Continuing to build industry and product capabilities by

o Completing NetSuite ERP Consultant certification

o -{PS..8}->Scoping and Managing deals that include an additional component beyond ERP (SuitePeople, WMS, SuiteBilling, POS, etc)

o Developing industry acumen by participating in industry focussed education and/or groups internal to Oracle NetSuite

o Coaching and mentoring junior resources on the team

-{PS..10}->Building relationships within the organization by

o Developing strong working relationships outside of your team to leverage resources across Oracle NetSuite as needed

Contributing to continuous improvement by

o -{PS..12}->Participating in internal team or organization improvement initiatives

o Identifying opportunities for improvement, communicating them to your manager and jointly developing plans to address or implement

o Draft initial project plans

Preferred entry Qualifications/Skills include:

-{PS..14}->Bachelor degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or other relevant discipline

3 years ofexperience as a successful technology implementation consultant/project manager AND 1 years experience within a given industry vertical

-{PS..15}->Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Ability to acquire and maintain an understanding of Oracle NetSuite products and industry verticals

-{PS..16}->Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple deals simultaneously

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

NetSuite and/or ERP solution implementation experience strongly preferred
