Verizon Wireless Network Engineer in Lewis Center, Ohio
What you’ll be doing...
The East Territory Transport Planning team is looking for a Network Engineer to support our network growth and capacity strategies. This position will primarily provide support for One Fiber and VZT (In Franchise) fiber programs. In this role the Network Engineer will participate in efforts improve/automate processes, to audit databases for accuracy, produce reports and/or dashboards, and work with the field teams to address/rectify any identified issues. This would include meeting periodically with various Transport Planning Teams including HQ, Territories and Sub-Markets to ensure a consistent approach to managing the data and ensuring program success.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership of indirect teams and is recognized as a strategic thought leader. Candidate should have the ability to build relationships and lead cross functional teams. Must be able to act as a communication bridge between HQ, Territory and submarket stakeholders, with the ability to engage, understand and respond to business objectives and needs in a rapidly changing environment.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Four or more years of experience in wireless industry with focus on transport networks.
Knowledge of Site Traker, FUZE SPM, FUZE 1F, and Granite.
Experience with Microsoft Office/G-suite applications.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
Experience creating reports/dashboards in Tableau or similar applications.
Project management/forecasting experience.
