Oracle Consulting Delivery Manager| Oracle Utilities in Liberty Corner, New Jersey
This manager-level position is responsible for people management and sales enablement. May also be responsible for project oversight of staff augmentation projects.
Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Responsible for operational metrics and business results for assigned area of responsibility. Typically manages individual contributors and/or entry-level managers. Monitors consultant activities and performance on projects (e.g. read status reports, respond to staffing and availability issues, pro-actively seek out project performance reviews, etc.). May serve as project advisor for moderately complex engagements.
8 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to travel as needed.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.
Delivery Manager within Americas Services organization, focused on Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing and Meter Data Management applications. Responsible for solution delivery and oversight, resource management/enablement/utilization, delivery excellence and business development.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Enhance and evolve business development and delivery tools/collateral, including methodology and estimating models
Create and implement operational policies and processes to drive utilization, team enablement, key skill/performer retention, deliverable & solution reusability, consistent results, and continuous improvement of delivery quality.
Mentor and develop industry experience, application skills, and consulting expertise amongst team
Interview & onboard new staff, along with providing continual feedback and formal performance appraisals for team members
Provide complex solution delivery and solution oversight on active engagements
Partner with project managers to balance resource supply & demand, on active & bid engagements
Support consulting sales team with RFP responses, project estimation and resource planning, oral presentations, contract development and negotiation
Preferred Qualifications:
People & team management experience
Consulting background, preferably with Big x Consultancy (IBM, Accenture, PWC, etc)
Full life cycle experience delivering COTS - as an individual contributor and preferably with project management or team lead experience
Extensive experience with Oracle Customer Care and Billing or competing CIS solutions
Consulting and/or direct employment in Utility industry
