Oracle Consulting Project Director in Liberty Corner, New Jersey
This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given project portfolio which can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsibilities include people management, project oversight, and sales enablement. Accountable for fulfilling business goals, meeting budgets, maintaining project/portfolio profitability while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer referenceability.
Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve portfolio performance in support of strategic objectives. Responsible for solutions and pricing of proposals and supporting the sales process. Is accountable for managing a significant and profitable revenue stream. Typically manages multiple project/program managers and/or senior level individual contributors. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.
10 years of experience relevant to this position, including 2 years of project or direct line management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Ability to travel as needed.

At least 15 years of work experience with a leading pricing & billing solution provider or with a leading consulting firm that focuses on pricing, billing and revenue management in financial services domain
Deep understanding of financial services industry verticals is required
Prior experience of delivering large pricing and billing projects is required
Be a trusted adviser to the clients - demonstrated ability of interacting with clients about their specific business problems and advising solutions and white boarding them with clients business and IT teams
Leading key account teams and acquisitions of large-scale assignments within financial services vertical
Manage relationship with the senior executives at key accounts
Leading multiple in-house consulting teams, driving projects progress and advising client teams in day-to-day project execution
Communicate and articulates the solution architecture to the project team and stakeholders
Manage scope creep to reduce business and technical risk
Supervising and delivering multiple high-impact projects as well as creating innovative thinking and developing new approaches
Track the recent trends in pricing, billing and revenue management, collate learning from the various implementation projects, and enhance consulting offering
Recruit, train and skill the consulting team servicing the financial services clients
Develop consulting assets and knowledge base
Conduct performance reviews and recommend benefits, bonus, training programs, certifications, etc.
Ensure overall customer satisfaction
