This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given project portfolio which can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsibilities include people management, project oversight, and sales enablement. Accountable for fulfilling business goals, meeting budgets, maintaining project/portfolio profitability while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer referenceability.
Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve portfolio performance in support of strategic objectives. Responsible for solutions and pricing of proposals and supporting the sales process. Is accountable for managing a significant and profitable revenue stream. Typically manages multiple project/program managers and/or senior level individual contributors. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.
10 years of experience relevant to this position, including 2 years of project or direct line management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Ability to travel as needed.

Establishoneself on the projects as a first Oracle go to person/trusted advisor forCustomer Executives.
Strong communication skills are a keycompetency for this role. Applicants should be confident presenting to largeaudiences and to a range of levels of seniority including C level executives.
They should also be confident communicatingin smaller groups and 1:1 with C level executives. Applicants should also feelcomfortable facilitating workshops.
Although this role would not typicallydeliver in depth demonstrations, we would expect the successful candidate to becomfortable leading and delivering high-level Application Migration and Cloudpresentations.

Weare looking for a good technical understanding of any of the following Oracleapplications; EBS, PSFT, SEBL or JD Edwards. Previous experience with ERPapplication migrations between different Hardware/Platforms, Data Centersand/or Oracle Application upgrades is desired
Strongproject management skills. Proactively manages and adjusts to the dynamic needsof the internal customer base. Ability to prioritize simultaneousprojects/deliverables/deadlines to successful completion (i.e. in a quality andtimely manner) while keeping focus on strategic priorities.
PMPor Prince2 certification required. Agile, Scrum and Lean a plus
Experiencedin delivery of complex projects/programs with an understanding of Agile,Waterfall and Adaptive project management.
Team-player;excellent collaboration skills in a cross-functional and matrix environment.Proven ability to work with Sales, Product Management/Marketing, Finance,Operations, and Executives.
Outstandingknowledge of MS Project, Excel (including advanced reporting, formula, andpivot tables), PowerPoint, Visio and Word.
5 years of experience with Oracle Technology and Application Delivery Consulting
10 years of experience as a project/program manager with an emphasis on ITprojects.
Attentionto detail and accuracy, strong commitment to quality.
Strategicthinking and problem solving ability (e.g. ability to conceptually frameproblems and identify creative solutions)
Strongleadership skills and outstanding ability to influence, persuade, and buildconfidence and trust.
Excellentinterpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills - examples ofprior work will be requested
Highlevel of discretion and organizational awareness. Ability to handle andcommunicate delicate information.
Upto 50% travel required for this position.
