Performs cardiac/vascular imaging for all patient populations. Performs TEE, stress echo and other testing at intra-operative, bedside, outpatient and mobile locations.
The Cardiology team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, respiratory therapists and technicians provide a full-spectrum of care towards a healthy heart. We complete hundreds of interventional cardiovascular procedures each year and are up-to-date with cardiology treatment options. Services and procedures include echocardiography, holter and ZIO monitors (heart monitors), cardiac stress testing, and intravascular ultrasound.
Current unencumbered Oregon license in Sonography required. If a new graduate, temporary license upon hire and permanent license within six (6) months of hire required.
One (1) of the following registry credentials required. If registry eligible, credential within six (6) months of hire required.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI).
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
One (1) year echocardiographer experience preferred.

Communication - Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss quality issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
Time Management - Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
