The wage range for this position is:# $18.40 - $27.03 .4 (32 hrs/pp) of the hours will be working as an Administrative Assistant.# The wage range for this position is:# $17.35 - $25.48 # JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE# Volunteer Services Coordinator: Assists with overall volunteer management and functions of the department. Performs clerical support to ensure efficient departmental operations. Administrative Assistant: Performs various clerical/administrative related duties for Executive(s) and department. Organizes and prioritizes multiple requests efficiently. Works independently with limited supervision and makes decisions within designated authority. # DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Volunteer Services Coordinator: The productive utilization of volunteers requires a planned and organized effort. The Volunteer Services Department serves as a central coordinating point for effective volunteer management within the organization including recruitment, retention and recognition, establishing guidelines, defining standards, and coordinating orientation and training for departmental referrals and assignments. Administrative Assistant: General Administration employees support the smooth operation of system-wide programs within Samaritan Health Services. We regularly interact with senior leaders, physicians and community members. # EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS # High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor#s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred. Two (2) years experience in a position of similar responsibility and complexity required. Experience and/or training in structure narratives, memos, letters, agenda and rules of spelling/grammar/punctuation preferred Volunteer supervisory experience preferred.
