Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for a seasoned BI professional who can architect,design, solution and deliver on a spectrum of demands across data acquisition& integrations, insights, analytics, dashboards and scorecards.

*Who are we: *The BITS (Business Intelligence & Technology Stack) team isthe go-to partner for OCI s Business Operations Planning and Strategy team(BOPS) for enabling business insights, analytics, automation, tooling, andworkflow processes. The team is comprised of Technical Program Managers,Business Intelligence leads, Data Engineers and Software Developers. Ourmission is to scale OCI s decision processes across demand planning,forecasting, capacity planning, capacity management, supply chain,infrastructure provisioning and utilization.

We collaborate closely with Supply Chain Operations to buildcollaborative tooling that simplifies the cycle of coordination for BOPS andSCO, interfacing with Oracle systems to bridge planning and execution gaps. Wedrive the engagement and prioritization of business insights and workflowautomations based on business drivers and success outcomes for demand planning,variance, excess & overages.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prioritizebusiness needs to deliver on analytics, BI and reporting experiences

  • Transformthe BI experiences as a self-serve capability

  • Driveplatform maturity for data store, data mart, data pipes and other datadistribution services

  • Leveragecloud & big data oriented techniques for a sustainable cloud basedarchitecture

  • Contributeto and manage to standards and processes for agile delivery and operations

  • Engagewith the business operational leads and TPM to structure and prioritizebusiness areas where insights can have the biggest impact, drive insightsinnovation

  • Partnerwith the TPM and Business functional leads iteratively to validate that thesolution outcomes fulfill the business needs

  • Ensuresolutions are thoroughly tested, delivered timely and accurately

  • Provideongoing assessment of solutions usage to determine feature updates anddeprecation

  • Ensureservice levels are met and reported on

  • Supportcross-functional requirement sessions and user acceptance testing as required

  • Provideguidance and training to business users as applicable to support the business

Key Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in all aspects of BI, Analytics, BI design andarchitecture, Information architecture and Master Data Management skills

  • Experiencebuilding and operationalizing highly available, scalable, reliable andautomated BI experiences through multiple project cycles

  • Expertisein BI development with enterprise BI stacks (Oracle BI stack, Microsoft BIstack, Open source BI stacks)

  • SQLproficiency, expertise with data mart design principles, STAR schema, SNOWFLAKEschema designs, data warehouse architectures, ETL architectures, dashboard andvisualization expertise (OBIEE, Tableau, PowerBI, SuperSet)

  • Experienceworking with large scale cloud BI technologies

  • Passionfor solving challenges, demonstrated innovative thinking and problem solvingskills

  • Excellentwritten and oral communication skills

  • Demonstratedability to work in ambiguous situations across organizational boundaries

  • Attentionto detail with drive for results

  • Bachelorsin Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems orclosely related field
