Summary

The Manager, Pre-Sales Solution Consulting role is responsible for meeting quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Account Management Organisation (AMO) which focusses on increasing customer adoption of NetSuite and ensuring that they are getting maximum value from NetSuite.

Managing a team of SC’s you will add value throughout the sales process and ensure your team is supporting the NetSuite AMO team across Western Europe.

You will bring a depth of experience in solution consulting with previous NetSuite experience as an asset. You will have proven success coaching and mentoring team members with a substantial contribution to their growth, development and PreSales techniques. You will have a desire to grow and build a team . You will be responsible to drive the strategy for the SC team, deal with escalations and partner with key executive members in the organization to drive sales. You enjoy a challenge and are able to deal well with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritise sales opportunities for a team of 5-10 individual contributors

  • Clearly articulate the benefits of NetSuite's business applications to all levels including line of business managers and "C" level executives

  • Provide input to other cross-functional departments – such as Product Management, Client Management, Support and Professional Services - pertaining to customer requests and product enhancements.

  • Ability to solve complex problems while engaging multiple cross functional resources

  • Coach, support and develop members of team – from both a product perspective as well as customer interaction

  • Manage hiring needs and performance of team

  • Troubleshoot and escalate complex customer requirements as required

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5 years in a pre-sales or professional services role with enterprise application software

  • 2 years in management / and or team lead role

  • Experience with financial application packages and an understanding of accounting principles

  • Experience presenting software products to customers an asset

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with ability to solution sell and coach

  • Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities

  • Previous experience hiring and building a pre-sales team is an asset

  • BA/MBA or equivalent applicable work experience

  • Ability to work well as a cohesive team

Travel: Position may require travel up to 25%

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
