Provide expertise in training delivery and related subjects, managing and documenting the full lifecycle from needs analysis through to execution of whatever an assignment requires (i.e. classroom, system training, presentations etc.). Work with stakeholders to help them understand the importance of training as part of any change to secure quality end outcomes.

Dependent on portfolio and workloads, from time to time, the role will be very comfortable ‘rolling up sleeves’ and taking on non-training assignments within the Business Project Management and Change team i.e. project managing small/medium business projects or initiatives, undertaking analysis etc.

Main Responsibilities

When assigned, provide expertise in all training related matters, working with project manager/Team to define and plan what is required Deliver agreed training within the time, cost and quality parameters agreed Engage stakeholders as the subject matter expert in all training matters relating to system or process change Provide mentoring and coaching to project managers to ensure training is routinely incorporated into planning Will develop a simplified end to end training methodology for the department with associated templates to create a repeatable and lasting process Review and evaluate business case proposals to ensure the training considerations have been captured Prepare related storyboards for presentation to senior management When assigned, can take on project management assignments and deliver small to medium projects safely and predictably

Qualifications 4-5 years minimum of professional training experience, preferably within a financial services environment Demonstrate and evidence practitioner level experience of managing initiatives through the full lifecycle of training delivery Demonstrate practitioner level experience of delivering end user training (classroom, presentation, manuals, guides etc.), familiarity with creating/delivering e-training desirable Proven self-starter with ability to work independently and ‘get stuck in’ Must have excellent ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to executive audiences Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and change Excellent follow-up skills and attention to details Ability to meet tight deadlines for deliverables Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required One or more of the following qualifications desirable; PMP, Prince2, Change Management Marsh is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management.
