Marsh & McLennan Client Manager - Energy & Power in London, United Kingdom

Marsh is currently recruiting a Client Manager – Energy & Power in London. This position is for an entry level/developing professional individual contributor in Advisory who works under close/moderate supervision. He or she may assist with preparing proposals and presentations, cultivates relationships with team members and clients, and advises clients on simple risk management solutions. He or she also participates in all aspects of year one/two of the graduate trainee program depending on the level. What can you expect? • Provides support to help clients coordinate solutions, manage accounts, obtain advice and administer plans • Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs • Resolves and oversees customer issues surrounding consulting, information, and software services, solutions and products • Identifies, develops, provides and advises on specific solutions/product categories and related risk management, service requirements, broking plans, insurance product lines, and/or insurance carriers that will meet client needs • Maintains, cultivates and nurtures client relationships to identify client needs, including emerging products and market conditions impacting coverage • Analyses and recommends solutions to client problems What is in it for you? • Good work life balance with a competitive salary • Comprehensive benefits programs including: excellent pension contributions, private health insurance, tuition assistance, pension, employee assistance program, career mobility, employee network groups, volunteer opportunities, and other programs • 26 days’ holiday with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year We will count on you to: • Gains subject matter expertise in specific risk exposures and/or sales areas to grow & master knowledge base and better serve clients • Advises/Assists with advising clients on risk management solutions which align to their strategic imperatives and risk exposures • Cultivates relationships with team members to better meet client needs • Attends and occasionally contributes to internal strategy meetings to better understand company strategy and serve clients • Participates in all aspects of the graduate trainee program, year one or two depending on the level • Utilizes knowledge of industry, risk and insurance markets to create the program submission including the coverage specifications • Prepares proposal components for review by more senior Advisory colleagues, including the analysis of: pricing, coverage terms and conditions, services, quote comparisons, financing, commentary and recommendations • Maintains ongoing relationship with clients and team colleagues to effectively service clients and assist Advisory colleagues What you need to have: • Licensed • Entry level/Developing professional individual contributor • Problems faced are predominantly routine though occasionally non-routine. • Helps others understand/explain facts, analysis & practices related to job area • Work is closely/moderately supervised About Marsh Marsh is the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser.
