There is an exciting opportunity at Mercer Marsh Benefits for a Health and benefits Senior International Consultant to contribute to our growth agenda - supporting multinational clients on a range of international benefit issues and projects. As a senior consultant at Mercer Marsh Benefits you will be the benefits specialist globally and locally, to provide advice on benefit programs in place for non-UK subsidiaries of multinational clients. This may involve developing client strategy, interfacing directly with clients and developing vendor relationships Essential functions for this role include You will be accountable for the day to day management of key clients and prospects To take ownership of all client deliverables around their expatriate health and risk provision Expatriate benefit design and program renewal/rebidding Preparation for client reporting including recommendations To provide recommendations on changes to benefit programs as appropriate To be the ‘go-to’ person for clients on our significant multi-country projects or as the lead on international consultant on small-mid size multinational clients To be an ambassador for MMB consultants around the world; to draft responses to client questions related to benefit issues Takes an active role in developing specific areas of intellectual capital Provides mentorship and training to more junior international benefit consultants Develop an external network with key providers often at C suite level Must have’s Growth focused A Bachelor’s degree 3 Years of relevant benefits experience would be a must Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint) Analytical, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills Oral and written communications skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment Ability to work independently and within a team International benefits experience would be desirable At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
