Marsh & McLennan Creative Workflow Manager in London, United Kingdom

This role is pivotal within the Creative team at Marsh, offering the opportunity to develop the role yourself as well as providing great long term career opportunities. You will gain a large amount of international exposure, liaising with Stakeholders across the globe. The Creative Workflow Manager is the liaison between the Creative CoE, internal stakeholders and regional hubs, arranging project briefs and coordinating the workflow and production of all creative projects and global workflow reporting. The Creative Workflow Manager is the key point of contact for the Creative Centre of Excellence. They provide production or workflow support, using the online workflow system, for the busy creative environment. It requires flexibility and adaptability to changing workflow levels and conflicting priorities along with a keen eye for detail. The role will also involve general office management tasks such as preparing management reports, processing and recharging of invoices, upkeep and amendment of design files. You will liaise daily with other design functions such as the regional and offshore design hubs, internal print resource and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and log project requirements, negotiate deadlines with stakeholders, identify issues and provide workable solutions, dealing with conflicting requirements where necessary Liaise between stakeholders and designers and communicate any instructions/requirements effectively Maintain the appropriate level of work within the design team by evaluating staff availability and skill set in order to meet agreed deadlines, and notify the creative leads of any workload issues Develop and maintain expertise in use of workflow management system Provide MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite support where required and assist the team in ensuring all documents are of a high quality and checked for accuracy Prepare regular reports on workloads and types of work undertaken by the Design Teams including costs of print-work and time/cost implications Maintain regular contact with regional workflow coordinators and provide support and training if necessary. Obtaining print quotations and sourcing appropriate suppliers Responsible for the administration and up-keep of various photo libraries, subscriptions and shared folders Liaise with regional coordinators including proof checking and quality control of templates and briefing their designers for global projects or additional resource requirements Correct payment and cross-checking of all print invoices and their subsequent recharging throughout the business Maintain a productive working atmosphere, which promotes teamwork, service excellence and commitment to daily production targets Liaise and monitor offshore teams to ensure KPIs are met Requirements Excellent project management skills essential. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office essential. Previous experience working in a similar role from either in house or agency background, on multiple projects for a team in a deadline driven environment. Knowledge of working with a web-based workflow management system is desirable Good spoken and written English Communicate at the highest level with key stakeholders – marketing and business leaders across the globe Have confidence and ability to use own initiative and to be flexible and adaptable. Good listener but to also challenge ideas and provide alternative solutions Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within the wider team Excellent multitasking skills with ability to juggle many tasks concurrently.
