Position Title Financial Analyst

AECOM are looking to recruit a
Financial Analyst for it's Real Estate team in London.
The role is key to providing the financial support to all UK&I Real Estate strategies along with ensuring we have accurate reporting across all of our real estate and have a detailed understanding of the costs and revenue associated to running each office.
Work with the Real Estate Team, the UK&I Operations Director and Finance Director in providing accurate data to support the UK&I Real Estate strategy going forward.
Ensure all financial transactions relating to Real Estate are accurately recorded in the system
Review all UK&I balances connected with Real Estate
Provide monthly analysis of operating costs for UK&I and explanation of variances
Provide regular updates to any project managers running Real Estate projects so that they can control the costs.
Calculate mark-up on internal time charged to Real Estate projects.
Provide reports to local FM managers to enable them to investigate any unusual
Supply any financial data required for the Transaction Analysis for lease transactions
Produce monthly Capital Forecasts based on information supplied by the Real Estate team
Produce monthly forecasts for operating costs.
Produce monthly savings reports for the region based on data supplied by the Real Estate team.
Produce any financial information for the Real Estate quarterly updates
Review professional fees monthly and accrue accordingly
Assist and support UK&I Real Estate planning cycle; including P&L, Balance Sheet and Working capital requirements.
Review the UK&I dilapidations provisions with the Real Estate
Perform sublet reconciliations and recovery of charges
To be successful in this role we would like to hear from candidates with the following;
Previous experience in a financial analyst role
Strong analytical & problem solving skills essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Works independently as well as part of a team; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives.
Reasonable amount of UK travel expected.
Ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Chartered Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA or similar) and/or financial analyst experience. (Real estate experience would be advantageous)
