Job Description

The Head of Agency Sales UK is a player

manager role you will be responsible for relationship and revenue growth across

all UK. You will work with your team to produce objectives and key results that

tie in with the overall Intl team’s.

Delivering revenue growth and achievement of individual agency targets

for all ODC products while building a thriving sales culture, team ethic and

personal development of members.

You will manage the strategic engagement with

all agencies and ensure that our target personas are consistently engaged:

  • Account / BusinessDevpt

  • Technology /Product Devpt

  • Comms Planning /Strategy

  • Activation /Buying

  • Data Sciences /Analytics

Reporting to the Commercial lead for the EMEA

Agency business, you will be a key member of the team, your team ethic and

collaboration will be of the highest order. You will be responsible for setting

the right tone and approach for your sales team and ensure that in all things

your team delivers the highest standard of work required of a member of the EMEA

ODC sales org.

Specific Responsibilities

Leadership & Ownership: Point person for all UK Agencies, best of

breed engagement, the best example of sales excellence within the UK agency

market. Ownership of your revenue number, a clear plan for achieving and

ability to develop and execute the sales pipeline

OKRs: Set team OKRs and mentor your team to produce quarterly OKRs for their

agencies, including revenue growth, key advertiser reach and network

development.

Agency War Room: Build up a clear picture of all relevant

individuals in the ODC key personas and ensure they are engaged with the relevant

ODC product suite.

Revenue Growth and commercialstrategy: Develop and execute with

dual focus on near-term goals and building foundations for sustainable

long-term revenue growth. Understand and activate new commercial models for in

market growth

Motivate Individuals within the team to exceptional financial results;

delivery of client service excellence; maximize job satisfaction and guide

personal development.

Measure and Celebrate team success; identify and close performance gaps;

track and meet quarterly goals

including, channel partner reach metrics, contacts and relationship

development.

Collaborate effectively with all ODC teams including market based GTM teams

(US,JAPAC,LATAM) Rest of EMEA Agency, EMEA Client, Account Management, INTL BD,

Intl Channel Partnerships and Product.

Evangelism and Education: Ensure that your team and agencies have the

tools and understanding they need to be successful in recommending ODC

solutions to their clients.

Product Development: Actively communicate to the Product team

how ODC offerings are being received and help identify potential new

offerings.

Team Coordination: Ask the right questions, Identify the right

resources and present the best solutions. This requires working across

different groups, from sales and product teams with deep vertical expertise in

analytics and marketing.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10 years in sales, sales engineering or business devptwithin a publisher, adnetwrok, AdTech or agency function.

  • 3 years of Sales Management experience preferablyselling to UK Agencies.

  • Proven senior level UK Agency network.

  • Expert grasp of how the sales process works andwhat is required to identify and maximise results. Pipeline management andforecasting expertise.

  • Subjectmatter expertise in targeting and measurement

  • Demonstratedtrack record building and growing revenue across assigned accounts atmultiple levels of UK Agencies.

  • In-depthknowledge of digital advertising processes and techniques. Solidunderstanding of ad-tech ecosystem

  • Demonstratedability to build relationships over time, converting transactionalrelationships to trusted partnerships.

  • Ability toidentify, forecast and convert

  • Strongenergy, drive and enthusiasm balanced with patience and persistence

  • Solidverbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Demonstratedability to work in teams and be flexible within a dynamicenvironment

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. 5 or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
