IBM Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship - Start dates in 2019 in London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Learn from the best! Apprenticeships at IBM are all about picking up new skills – and lots of them. It’s three years’ worth of brilliant training, loads of exposure and the kind of experience you simply couldn’t get anywhere else. If you’ve decided to dive straight into the world of work after college (and if you’re as fascinated as we are by technology and how it can change business), our Apprenticeship Scheme is one of the best learning experiences out there.

As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll receive all the exposure and opportunities you need to learn what it takes to be a project manager. You’ll be working closely with experienced IBMers, delivery professionals and mentors in an interactive and collaborative environment.

Throughout this role, you’ll be continually implementing and developing your problem-solving skills, building relationships and interacting with clients, which is a great way to increase your network! Not only that, you’ll also be responsible for understanding what needs to be achieved on a project, as well as organising how it will be achieved, implementing time-scales and discussing costs.

Overall, this role is a great opportunity for you to develop fundamental skills that you can utilise throughout your career as well as working and networking with IBMers and clients from all backgrounds!

What we look for:

  • You don't need to be studying business or technology A-levels, but you must have a keen interest in both.

  • You must have achieved at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths and English Language (this equates to a grade 4-9 in Maths and English Language from 2017 onwards) and at least 64 UCAS points (if completing A-levels from 2017 onwards) or 160 UCAS points (if completing A-levels in 2016 or earlier). We also except Level 2 Skills Tests as a GCSE equivalent in Maths and English.

  • You will need to be mobile – base locations are across the UK (including but not limited to London, Hursley (near Winchester) and Portsmouth), however the work will be project based and typically you’ll find yourself working at a client site which requires extensive travel and staying away from home during the week.

  • You must be authorised to work in the UK.
