Visit our website for more details about Oliver Wyman Group: Oliver Wyman’s London Legal & Compliance team supports all practices and businesses within the Oliver Wyman Group throughout Europe and is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the European legal team. This individual will be responsible for providing outstanding executive level administrative support to the Chief Counsel for EMEA and APR and the broader European legal team and will, over time, grow to provide legal support to the Oliver Wyman Group businesses. The Legal Assistant will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability and build trust-based relationships with both the global OW Legal & Compliance team and the EMEA Partner group. Key Responsibilities General Administration, Calendaring, Travel, Expense Reporting: 50% Provide executive level administrative support to the Chief Counsel for EMEA and APR and other lawyers within the European Legal Department Manage busy calendars, scheduling meetings with Partners and clients as appropriate Proactively identify opportunities to add internal and external meetings; trainings, interviews, team meetings and follow ups Coordinate travel and accommodation, book cars, travel tickets, etc. Prepare monthly timesheets and expense reports Legal Support: 30% (the Legal support will steadily increase over time, with full training to be provided) Provide guidance and support to Partners and EAs on client corporate administration, including: selecting and preparing OW form contracts, using the correct contracting entity, identifying signature authorities for contracts, using and applying Master Services Agreements, assisting the business leverage previously negotiated contracts by using OW ‘linking language’ Liaise with clients regarding legal matters where appropriate Support Partners with reviewing Non-Disclosure Agreements (also known as confidentiality agreements) Assist senior business colleagues with information requests for client tenders. This will involve liaising with various colleagues from across the business to provide legal input on tender documents Provide client contracting training to EMEA EA Group and being the legal liaison to the EMEA EA Group Assisting with the corporate governance of all OW EMEA entities General support and assistance with legal matters for the European legal team Managing external law firms: 20% Manage and process all invoices for external legal support, obtaining required approvals and coordinating with the finance team and with law firms. Experience required 2 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant Working experience in a professional services / consulting firm Skills and Attributes Strong initiative - open to new challenges and intellectually curious Problem solver - able to work with others effectively to reach a viable solution and goal Self-starter - confidence and ability to work with minimal guidance Flexible attitude - adaptable to a fast-paced and quickly changing environment Methodical, organized and excellent attention to detail Ability to manage a heavy work volume and meet deadlines Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality Hard-working, cost conscious and results driven Strong service focus Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and sense of fun Technical skills Expert proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint Educated to GSCE level with English and Mathematics (A-C results) Degree preferable, but is not essential Interest in legal matters R075494-en R075494
