Preferred Qualifications

The Senior

Director, EMEA Sell Side, oversees Oracle Data Cloud’s publisher-orientated business

across the region. Reporting to VP/GM International, Oracle Data Cloud,

responsibilities include:

Leadership

of the EMEA Sell Side team which includes new and expansion sales and account

management functions.

Determination

and execution of the agreed strategy.

Being

a strong voice on the ODC International management team and taking on special

ad hoc projects across the organisation to drive x-business, x-functional

improvement.

Driving

multi-product use across the current customer base.

-

Creating

culture, processes and team skills to minimise customer attrition.

Building

the external brand for the function so that Oracle Data Cloud is seen as the

expert partner of choice for EMEA-based publishers.

Ensuring

product needs and asks for market are well-scoped.

Delivering

a structured expansion of the business into new geographical markets.

-

Building

a network beyond Oracle Data Cloud within wider Oracle to identify new opportunities

and support the delivery of functional goals.

-

Driving

use of OKRs into teams and individuals to ensure that activities are lined up

to strategic goals.

The incumbent

of this role will:

Understand

the value of driving a winning culture.

Partner

with the Chief of Staff to create plans to improve the skills base of the team.

-

Provide

clarity of purpose at all times to the team with clear OKRs which will include,

but will not be limited to, minimising customer churn, maximising new and

expansion revenue, increasing average deal size and managing profitability.

Be

able to think beyond week-to-week and be able to formulate a clear plan to

achieving macro goals.

-

Manage

a wide set of key stakeholders to achieve goals, not limited to the leadership

team, channel, business development and partnership management functions

of ODC and the Oracle Legal function.

Be

able to drive an effective team by removing clutter and friction and creating

appropriate focus to deliver.

Develop

and leverage own and other's commercial relationships to achieve goals.

Project

manage their own work successfully and operate transparently and openly with

key stakeholders.

Understand

or develop an understanding of the needs of the International business across

all markets and play an appropriate role in helping the business achieve its

goals.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge.
