What We’re Looking For
ODC is looking for a Security
Operations Analyst with good technical security grounding who is familiar with
handling and responding to security incidents. This individual will report
directly to the Director of Security Operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
You haveexperience with Tier1 and Tier2 incident response processes and havedemonstrated experience monitoring and responding to security events in largeenterprise networks.
You areinquisitive by nature and know how to run packet captures, search through logsand follow a thread wherever it leads.
You havein depth knowledge of a variety of security threats and are able to understandthe risk and impact of these threats within the overall context of thebusiness.
Demonstrateinitiative by suggesting modifications to existing processes or developing newprocesses that improve the efficiency and customer experience for the business.
You area people person who likes interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
Use yourtechnical experience to make initial decisions and security recommendations fornew events or requests.
You arepassionate about security, like learning new things, and are comfortable makingdecisions in situations of uncertainty.
Youpossess a basic understanding of key security technologies such as identity andaccess control, logging, antivirus protection, vulnerability management, imageand service hardening, encryption, and application security. Cloud experiencealso is desirable.
Possessa strong drive to use security to enable the business and deliver a positiveexperience to other technology organizations across ODC and Oracle.
Familiaritywith industry standard security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, etc. and deepknowledge of terms like IOC, TTP, etc.
Keep upto date with existing and emerging security technologies that can be adopted atODC.
You haveone or more security relevant certifications, such as GCIH, GSEC, GFNA, CISSP,etc.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
