As the Senior Financial Analyst in the Global Business Services & Real Estate Finance department of Marsh & McLennan Companies Corporate, the successful candidate will be part of a small team providing property accounting, real estate project accounting, financial planning & analysis, budgeting and business decision support for Real Estate Services (MMCRES), Facilities Management (FM) in the UK and Ireland, with an oversight to EMEA and Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) in EMEA. Responsibilities : Take full responsibility for the Business Partnering to GSP and Ireland FM. Support the monthly close process preparing prepayments and accruals, running month end reports and reviewing operating results for MMCRES, FM and GSP prior to close and meeting the global month end deadlines. Support the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for MMCRES, FM and GSP, including budget allocations to OpCos and quarterly True ups. Support the preparation of capital budgets & forecasts for MMCRES related activities. Prepare statutory information on a quarterly basis for finance lease & contract liabilities and annual TC4 (cease to trade) modelling, ensuring current accounting standards are being met. Monitor & review reserves for abandoned properties and update as required interacting with Controllership to ensure correct accounting treatment. Monitor Sub tenants billing by third party & initiate any additional sales invoices required. Provide finance support to the in house Tax department for MMCRES managed properties including annual hospitality analysis, CIS analysis, capital goods scheme and VAT issues related to intercompany charges and apportionment by OpCos. Preparation of monthly management reports to local FM Management and senior Finance and Real Estate teams. Prepare the monthly recharges to OpCos for non-FM budgeted items, including stationery recharges, translations and office moves plus monitor and track actual spend for couriers, post and reprographic costs. Monitor & support use of IProcurement within FM, including the financial accrual report, coordinating with vendors and FM staff to ensure correct usage & Compliance, including issue resolution and setting up New Suppliers to use within the System. Monitor & update Data Governance and authorisation workflows for use on Iprocurement following management changes, acquisitions and statutory updates. Monitor & support for the Finance administration responsibilities for the Chauffeurs department. Administration tasks relating to banking of cheques and Bacs receipts by liaising with controllership to ensure accurate recording of cash in. Monitor and support Outsourced contracts for the Data Centres and Ireland FM by working with the outsourced suppliers. Special projects as needed by GBS leadership, MMCRES leadership or Vice President – Corporate Planning. Build strong working relationships with Company Controller, Real Estate staff and Head of GSP. Requirements: AAT or Accountancy Finalist or recently qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) strongly preferred Minimum of 3 years business experience and budgeting, accounting or financial analysis experience Knowledge of Corporate Real Estate desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Oracle and Smartview desirable Excellent analytical and follow-up skills Highly organized with ability to multi-task and work against deadlines Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills Ability to interact with different levels of management Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment Ability to carry out responsibilities as new software capabilities are evolving Marsh & McLennan Companies is a global professional services firm offering clients advice and solutions in the areas of risk, strategy and people.
