Where you fit in

This is a senior role within our Information Risk Management (IRM) Leadership team, with a focus on managing information risk across Shell’s Global Functions business. Which means, making sure our businesses are protected against information security threats through pro-active risk management across all our day to day operations, systems and networks.

What’s the role?

As Senior IRM Analyst, you’ll be working closely with IRM teams, directing activities that will protect business information, pro-actively reviewing Shell’s information security and vulnerabilities, as well as meeting expected compliance and assurance requirements.

Extremely self-motivated, your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will ensure you can confidently identify and translate the significance of risk and security for businesses, educating teams on risk and making risk-aware decisions, always with a strong emphasis on innovation.

Other wide-ranging responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, reviewing results and recommending the risks to be remediated.

  • Performing end to end security assessments on vendor offerings and services.

Finally, your flair for understanding the technology landscape will see you nurturing influential relationships and communicating a shared vision of risk management across a range of global business and IT stakeholders, from project managers to business analysts.

What we need from you

We’re keen to talk to men and women with experience with IRM and its impact on application development and operations, as well as the IT infrastructure. Plus, we’d also hope to see as many of the following on your CV:

  • An industry relevant qualification in CISSP, CISA, CRISC or CISM.

  • Knowledge and experience with audits, risk management, and business controls.

  • An excellent understanding of the internal and external IT security standards, such as the OCF, ISO 27001 and relevant legal compliance aspects.

  • A robust understanding of HR business and processes.
