Marsh & McLennan Senior Reward Analyst in London, United Kingdom

Total Rewards operates as a Centre of Expertise, with Reward experts in the Corporate Head Office and in the regions. This role supports Marsh and Guy Carpenter for the UK and Ireland region. We act to improve oversight and governance at a regional level, and to support global initiatives such as the introduction of new systems and frameworks. This is an excellent time to join the Total Rewards function, with the ongoing integration of our recently acquired Jelf/Bluefin business and a requirement to improve existing Reward Plans, there will be plenty of opportunities to support the business through 2018 and beyond.

This exciting new role is for an experienced Reward Analyst who has excellent analytical skills, combined with knowledge of Total Rewards. The role will also require regular interaction with key stakeholders, it is therefore critical the job holder is able to engage confidently with HR Business Partners and Business Managers.

Key Responsibilities

Providing support to the Total Rewards Manager, Total Rewards Team and HR Business Partners in all aspects of Reward, including year-end review, ad hoc projects, and market analysis. Preparing analytics and producing recommendations and proposals, and managing ad hoc requests for analytics. Generating materials for presentations to managers and senior business leaders Generating and interpreting complex reports from large databases to manage employee data, and external market information.
Supporting Reward projects, inclusive of Plan design, employee benchmarking, pay analysis, performance management and ad hoc business requests. Acting as an expert resource during the year-end process by answering questions, or escalating where appropriate. Consulting with HR Business Partners regarding market data to help them understand the data and application to their business. Supporting the new hire process by providing relevant market data. Conducting ad hoc research on Reward practice and emerging trends. QualificationsRequirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related disciplines such as economics, finance or statistics. Proven experience in compensation with knowledge of compensation principles and concepts including market pricing and compensation plan/structure design preferred. Advanced Excel and Access skills. Strong analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal and consulting skills. Good team player, willing to provide support to the wider HR Function where required. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
