We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the EMEA FS Talent Management team at Oliver Wyman in London. This is a highly demanding position in a fast-paced, professional services environment. The EMEA FS region covers 9 offices and the talent management team is responsible for staffing, retaining and managing the consultant population of 200 people. This role is integral to the smooth running of the business.

Staffing of Practice projects 

Sole responsibility for the staffing of Associates through to Principles throughout the EMEA region  Senior stakeholder interaction, business partnering, being a trusted resourcing advisor etc.  Gaining a strong understanding of consultant skills, development goals and preferences in order to drive their personal development through strategic staffing.  Ensure that all projects are staffed within the agreed SLAs using developmental staffing  Attend weekly meetings with Practice Heads and Talent Manager  Understand the pipeline of potential projects and be pro-active is raising issues and concerns  Understand potential staffing capacity issues and escalate to the EMEA Head of Talent Management when necessary  Understand consultant performance, skills and development needs to facilitate a smooth staffing process  Match available consultants with open project needs Data Integrity and Analysis 

Maintain resource planning database (Retain) and Peoplesoft and take responsibility for the accuracy of its records  Ensure starter and leaver information is accurately recorded in Peoplesoft  Ensure training courses are accurately reflected in Retain  Work with the Talent Managers to assist with checks and balances internal finance system and Retain to ensure accurate recording.  Take responsibility for monitoring the use and quality of information in the finance system, this would include;  Process new sales notifications and make changes to existing notifications as needed  Run the weekly project extension report  Run the monthly Retain/Timesheet variance process Reporting

Run the weekly no PE report  Monitor timesheet submissions and chase missing timesheets  Co-ordinate the production of weekly consultant availability long lists and keep these up to date throughout the week  Track and maintain the WWW report and distribute to Practice contacts

HC Processes 

Assist with the exit processes for consultant staff within the Practices that are covered  Assist with and provide additional cover to assist with the management of the Consultant performance review and compensation process at mid and year end  Track mobility for EMEA staff and work with HC Ops to administer visas  Manage UK Holiday carry over and compliance  Contractor tracking in conjunction with recruiting and HC Ops  Administer the background checking process with HC Ops Operational support

Collate and distribute information required for the Partner Review Committee and work with other HC team members where required  Take ownership for consultant files and maintain accurate and well organised electronic systems and hard copy files QualificationsExperienced Required: 

1-3 years’ work experience of resource management experience, ideally from a Big 4 Consulting or Management Consulting firm  Good understanding of a consulting environment  Experience of using Retain system will be highly advantageous Skills and Attributes Needed:
