What’s the role?
As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll play a pivotal part within our Nature Based Solutions team, bringing your forestry contracting and procurement expertise to help achieve our ambitions and have a real impact on these crucial global issues.
Naturally, you’ll relish the opportunity to work on one of humanity’s biggest challenges. Pro-active and resilient, you’ll use your commercial experience within forest management to identify and develop the best supply chain opportunities and solutions, quickly scaling up the business and ensuring we make profitable progress. Using your unique mix of commercial experience and forestry expertise to successfully deliver projects, within budget and on schedule.
You’ll be comfortable managing a mix of commercial activities, from global deals and market intelligence, to preparing bids and developing specific contracting strategy per project. Plus, your strong communication skills will see you nurturing, strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, along with energetically motivating and empowering teams.

What we need from you
We’re keen to hear from men and women with extensive contract and procurement and supply chain experience, within forestry and forest management. Along with your Bachelor’s degree and a strong commercial mindset, we’d also hope to see some of the following on your CV:
Strong knowledge of forestry project contract and procurement and supply chains.
An understanding of project management and services functions, including planning, quantity surveying, estimating, scheduling and cost control.
Some experience within front-end business development activities.
Experience and interest in working in smaller companies and businesses.
CIPS qualified, or an enthusiasm to work towards it, will be an advantage.
Knowledge of SAP would be useful, but not essential.
Proven ability to work in remote areas internationally, along with a willingness to travel.
