We have an exciting opportunity in sales, for a Watson Health - Oncology Solution Sales Specialist.

As the Watson Health Oncology Solution Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for working with the client executive team, to support deeper client meetings focused on Watson for Oncology, Watson for Clinical Trial Matching and Watson for Genomics. Watson Health is looking for passionate and motivated sellers, with demonstrated presentation skills who are comfortable presenting to healthcare professionals; including, medical directors, oncologists, geneticists and at the C-suite to support opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Providing deal execution support through subject matter expertise in oncology

  • Plan, prepare and deliver demonstrations and presentations in response to client opportunities

  • Understand client requirements, and create compelling value propositions to support sales opportunities

  • Collaborative working with offering management to help design solutions for prospects based on uncovered needs and requirements

  • Active participation in scoping client Proofs of Concept (POCs)

  • Contributing to written proposals and RFP responses

  • Support driving new SaaS pipeline

The Watson Health team is looking for a candidate who encompasses the following:

  • Proven performing, experienced sellers who can engage with customers, build relationships and have the business acumen and strategic thinking to identify business challenges and how to solve them

  • Individuals with an understanding of the clinical process flow within a hospital, specifically the patient to doctor relationship, the process the doctor goes through to diagnose, propose treatments especially for chronic diseases such as Oncology

  • Ability to work in complex, matrix managed organizational environments and manage multiple priorities

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Health or Science related discipline or equivalent vocational experience.

  • Previous Experience in the healthcare industry

  • Experience selling healthcare IT solutions desirable.

  • Understanding of Web-based applications and SaaS technologies desirable
