Accenture LLP seeks a Business & Integration Arch Associate Manager in Los Angeles, CA to hold responsibility for projects involving strategy and Oracle systems optimization as it relates to Financial/Accounting systems operations, business processes, security, and data integrity. S/he will perform the following duties: work within a team that is responsible for planning, analyzing, creating, designing, testing, and implementing new Oracle Cloud-based Financial solutions; gather and organize information on current business processes and procedures, document findings, and analyze findings to design Oracle Cloud Financial systems solutions that solve specific business problems related to financial and accounting systems; prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems and procedures, as well as business process redesign; confer with business and project management to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures, user acceptance testing and training; lead review and maps Oracle Financials business processes, and execute the day-to-day activities of advisory engagements for a variety of clients, including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews; review business processes and advise client on system services available within the Oracle Financials suite of applications, while identifying and communicating findings to senior management and client personnel; consult with clients to establish user requirements and determine the role of current Financial/Accounting systems operations within their business processes; review, analyze, document, and evaluate current Financial/Accounting business systems and processes; analyze the functionality and features of Oracle Cloud-based Financial systems to recommend improvements to business alignment and maximize performance to meet client’s business goals; identify problems with current processes/systems in order to suggest Oracle Cloud Financials-based solutions that automate, improve, or add new functionality to existing Financial/Accounting systems; participate in design sessions to address gaps (areas not covered) in current system, provide suggestions to improve existing systems, and change/modify current business processes to achieve quantifiable process improvements; articulate solutions to client’s end users and c-level executives and other stakeholders; prepares design documentation and work with application implementation resources to support business requirements; prepare and present updates on projects to executive management; recommend, develop, and execute plans for additional software module implementations based on specific business requirements; utilize industry-leading best practices for solutions design, business process analysis, and system integration; prepare and present updates on projects to executive management; troubleshoot problems with Oracle Financials applications by working with Business Analysts, Engineers and Software Developers; take part in testing to ensure that systems work as expected; provide post-go-live analysis of new system set up, functionality/features and design customizations to ensure the system standard features are working correctly; analyze problems with implementations to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action; utilizes industry-leading best practices for financial solutions design, business process analysis, and system integration; create and maintain effective client relationships, while participating in and supporting business development; conduct pre-sales activities and lead Oracle Cloud-based Financial project assessments; and offer strategic business support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Up to 50% domestic travel required. May work from the company’s office in Los Angeles, CA or reside anywhere in the U.S. and work remotely from home. May work at other U.S. locations not presently known.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study. If no bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept one (1) additional year of related experience for each year not completed toward the required degree. The position also requires 10 years of experience in Computer Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, Consultant, IT Finance Manager, or related occupation, including the following experience/requirements: Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or foreign equivalent; 10 years of consulting experience with Oracle Financials; Knowledge of business processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP); Knowledge of Budgeting, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Fixed Asset Management (FA), Cash Management, and Tax; and Experience with systems implementation, including requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
