Deloitte Cyber Software Asset Management (SAM) / Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) Manager in Los Angeles, California
The SAM / ITAM Manager will be responsible for working with Deloitte s clients to provide SAM / ITAM program leadership and direction to ensure processes, policies, and procedures are in place to meet our client s regulatory, operational, audit and reporting requirements when it comes to asset management (software and/or hardware).
The SAM / ITAM Manager/Specialist Master brings the most value to the client by understanding and fulfilling the client s current needs, anticipating and proactively addressing future needs and executing on those efforts that will return the greatest ROI to the client, while demonstrating effortless execution and a delightful experience for our clients.
Work you ll do
Lead project teams to help our clients develop and implement leading SAM / ITAM practices, including designing and transforming existing SAM / ITAM people, process, and technology to become industry leading organizations.
Provide guidance and manage any of the many SAM/ ITAM activities which may be occurring simultaneously at the client. Sample activities include asset renewals, ticket processing/fulfillment, cost savings initiatives, process efficiency implementations, big data analysis, security analysis, pricing activities and engagement reporting.
Activities are primarily categorized into one of three main categories, ongoing run the day to day business, ad-hoc or one-time project based efforts or transformational level efforts, designed to change and make the 1 st two more efficient. Items vary widely in complexity and/or duration (weeks to months to years) to achieve the stated objectives.
Deloitte has a focus on selling partial or fully managed services to our clients. Growing into a fully managed service provides Deloitte with the opportunity to embed our professionals into our client s organization and obtain a long term commitment from the client to develop and mature the SAM / ITAM function together. This position will be expected to help sell and expand Deloitte s SAM / ITAM managed services offering at current and new clients.

Oversee all engagement activities and governance
Prioritize and delegate activities, develop our people to be future leaders and SMEs
Understand SAM / ITAM tools
Obtain and share licensing expertise
Report/present on engagement activities
Interact and bridge gaps between other key engagement threads
Be proactive and anticipate roadblocks, assist with issue escalations
Multi-task and drive projects to completion
Manage last minute client/internal management requests
Remain responsive to key client stakeholders
Resolve/anticipate team staffing issues
Willingness to travel up to 80%
