IBM Software Engineer - RTP, NC or Austin, TX in Los Angeles, California

IBM Global Technology Services (GTS) is expanding its proven excellence in hybrid cloud networking to develop a new Network as a Services solution to help lead clients through this journey.
Activities performed by the software engineer will include:
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
We are looking for a developer 5+ years of experience to join our team with the following skills:
Object Oriented or Functional Programming languages
Use of defect tracking software such as Jira or test track.
Good communication skills (written and spoken)
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Technical knowledge on:
Chef or Ansible
Scripting language such as Python or Ruby
