How will you make an impact?

The Senior Channel Management, Bioproduction role is responsible for supporting growth through Channel Partners in North America for the BioProduction Division. The Senior Channel Manager, BioProduction is responsible for driving business performance, managing and developing distribution channels and developing customer relationships. This entails working with Commercial, Product Management, and Market Development teams to execute high impact field-based initiatives in support of the product category. This role will be based in Los Angeles CA or San Diego CA.

What will you do?

  • The Senior Channel Manager, BioProduction will be the primary BioProduction contact for Tier 1 & 2 Channels in specific Regions

  • The Senior Channel Manager, BioProduction will be the regional owner of all BPD Channel SKU buckets revenue, opportunities, quotes, rebates, SFDC, and support

  • This individual will identify and develop relationships and synergies with Channel Regional Managers-Industry Directors-Life Science Specialists

  • This incumbent will help establish and achieve regional sales growth targets, as well as regional growth initiatives

  • Own regional QBR with Channel Regional teams and Regional MBR with internal regional teams

  • Foster and Drive cohesiveness amongst BPD commercial reps and Channel field reps

  • High Cadence of regional Field engagement activities (trainings / workdays / seminars / demos / shows)

  • Drive collaboration with Thermo KAM, Thermo Divisions (BID, GSD, LPD.)

How will you get here?

Education

This position requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience

Experience

  • Degree, professional qualification, and relevant work experience in sales or marketing

  • Must have a passion for our Bioproduction products and the associated markets.

  • Proven track record in industry, academia, or related field with progressively increasing responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated excellence in business to business marketing.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and unit analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Demonstrated excellence in English oral and written communications skills (additional language skills are not essential but would be an advantage).

  • Demonstrated success in forming inter-departmental relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
