Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Senior DevOps Engineer


Preferred Qualifications:

Seeking an experienced developer/systems engineer to assist withthe development and support of variousplatforms and infrastructure services, with a focus on kubernetes. Theindividual should have experience with both traditional development/engineeringprojects as well as working in a DevOps role. This is a highly collaborative,fast-paced environment looking for strong communication and teamwork skills aswell as the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

The candidate should be familiar with some of thefollowing:

Containersand Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, etc).

Development of web-based and standalone applications (JavaScript,Python, Go)

Configuration management tools, Chef and/or Ansible preferred

Linuxserver administration and configuration

Virtualization (KVM)

Building/maintaining highly available, distributed architecturesin the cloud (OCI, AWS, etc.)

Source control (Git) and package management tools (npm, pip, etc.)

Test-Drivendevelopment

Data analysis, centralized logging, security engineering andoperations

Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines such as Jenkins

Functional Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deploy a kubernetes infrastructure to supportvarious service team efforts.

Workon ancillary efforts as part of the platform engineering group

Participatein 24/7 on-call rotation when needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology orsimilar degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of general work experience and three(3) years of relevant experience in functional responsibility

Candidate should have experience working with infrastructure as aservice or clouds (OCI, Amazon Web Services, etc.)

Candidate should have experience supporting the SDLC through useof DevOps methodologies

Candidate should have strong analytical and organizational skills

Candidateshould have concise communication skills

Experiencewith securing Cloud environments preferred
