CACI International Engineering Technician in Louisville, Kentucky
As an outstanding Engineering Technician, you will assist the Engineers and Technicians supporting the US Navy’s Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and SeaRAM production and refurbishment at the Original Equipment Manufacture’s facility located in Louisville, KY.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Assist the Engineers and Technicians supporting the US Navy’s Close-In Weapon System (CIWS)/SeaRAM production and refurbishment at the Original Equipment Manufacture’s facility in Louisville, KY
Provide Curriculum revision and maintenance on the CIWS/SeaRAM and other Naval Gun Systems
Conduct functional testing of thermal imaging sensors associated with the CIWS utilizing electronic instruments and testing equipment
Provide technical supply management including receipt, inventory, storage management, and assist the retrieval, packing, issue and shipping of material, equipment and spare parts etc.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Security clearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and correctness on all material, equipment and spare parts accountability transactions
MicroSoft Office proficiency and experience
Ability to meet normal demands associated with an industrial manufacturing and refurbishment facility
Must be able to effectively retrieve typical spare parts/material associated with the CIWS and SeaRAM systems in a warehouse environment
Must be able to comfortably stand, stoop, kneel, ascend or descend ladders and be free of any abnormal fear of heights
Previous experience with Navy CIWS/SeaRAM as a civilian or previous active duty Navy enlisted Gunners Mate Fire Controlman NEC 1121/22
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Navy Instructor - NEC 9502
Course Curriculum Model Manager or Course Supervisor Experience
Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) Experience
Curriculum Development Experience
NAVY Maintenance Experience
Master Training Specialist Experience
