Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for an Inside Liability Adjuster in Lubbock TX!

What you will do:

As an Allstate Inside Liability Adjuster, you have the rewarding opportunity to restore our customer's lives after they’ve experienced a loss. Every single day you will be tasked with working closely with those who have endured a loss. While expressing care and concern you will interview parties involved in accidents via the phone, to evaluate the cause of the accident, who’s at fault, and to what degree. You will also work directly with customers to guide them through the claims process in a caring and professional manner, and negotiate fair and equitable settlements. Customer follow-ups will also be expected to ensure the needs of each customer are met.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Document claim filed with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process

  • Determine applicable coverage for the loss

  • Obtain recorded statements from claimants, insureds, witnesses, etc.

  • Establish initial inspections, manage rental duration, and issue payments

  • Respond to customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues

  • Participate in team huddles and problem-solving sessions

  • Please note, there is a required 2-week training that will take place in Wheeling, IL

  • Starting salary of $42,200 per year

  • Monday - Friday work schedule from 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (occassional Saturday and late duty)

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Two years of experience delivering extraordinary customer service in a high-volume environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a real passion for helping others

  • Ability to make difficult decisions and communicate this information effectively

  • Strong organizational and computer skills

  • Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently

  • Persistence to face problems head on and see through to resolution
