The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support Clinical Research with Statistical support. This will include but is not limited to:

  • Collaborating with Veterinarians on Design of Clinical Trials.

  • Determining sample size and randomization schemas.

  • Providing input into data collection forms.

  • Performing User Acceptance Testing for Electronic Data Capture.

  • Performing statistical analyses under the guidance of the Statistical Team using SAS or R.

  • Assembling regulatory submission packages.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Must be in the process of earning a BA or BS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Sciences, Public Health, or related degree programs.

  • Completed at least 3 years of college course work by June 2019.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Available for a period of 9-12 weeks beginning the last of week of May 2019.

  • Completed a series of statistical courses such as Design of Experiments, Linear Regression, General Linear Models, Nonparametrics

  • Knowledge of SAS, R, or other statistical analysis software

  • Critical thinking skills to carry out instructions and make decisions within scope of authority

  • Problem solving skills involving several variables

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and be an active member of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent English communication skills, oral and written.

  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Leadership roles during college

  • Additional language fluency highly desirable

  • Excellent English communication skills, oral and written.

  • Ability to adapt communication to international audiences

  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
