Our Outpatient Services offers a Partial Hospitalization Program, an Intensive Outpatient Program, and Group Therapy options. We are looking to expand our team to support the community needs. We are hiring a Manager of Outpatient Services
As the Manager you will work directly with the Director of Clinical Operations, our Assessment Team, and various therapeutic clinicians and specialists

We are hiring a Manager of Outpatient Services!
Role and Responsibilities:
•Actively identifies and reports opportunities for improvement, seeks solutions and communicates through proper chain of command
•Actively participates in departmental PI activities including committee involvement, and assisting with monitoring PI criteria and indicators
•Coordinates/assists specific functions and activities of assigned practices including information systems, accounting, human resources, payroll, materials management, engineering and other support services
•Evaluates performance of immediate subordinates and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
•Screens, interviews and hires qualified applicants for open positions
•Recommends facility improvement including construction and renovation
•Meets weekly with office staff to inform them of needs, developments and receive information from them regarding the operation of the programs
•Meets monthly with Director of Admissions and Clinical Operations & Division leadership (as needed) to discuss program operations
•In corroboration with Human Resources ensures the timely development and/or revision of departmental job descriptions, competencies and wage scales to reflect current job duties
•Completes annual performance reviews within required time frame and includes required attachments
•Coordinates assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of Departmental Policies/Procedures and regulatory requirements that will appropriately guide and support the provision of services
•Actively participates in marketing/sales activities while overseeing program development, labor management and budget objectives
•Maintains knowledge of and compliance with all current hospital and departmental policies and state, federal, and JCAHO regulations.
•Verifies each patient has an interdisciplinary plan of care, which is individualized, updated and documented. •Monitors and verifies the above referenced plan on care in implemented and coordinated utilizing critical thinking and organizational skills •Monitors ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the plan of care and the patient’s response to that care. •Demonstrates attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy of daily work •Demonstrates knowledge and competence with the electronic medical record program. •Completes high quality work in accordance with outlined standards and procedures within defined time frames •Demonstrates effective utilization, planning and organization of hospital/job resources •Sets priorities and demonstrates effective organizational skills by optimizing use of time, meeting deadlines and completing assigned tasks in a cost-effective manner •Demonstrates the ability to problem-solve at their designated level of management •Identifies real or potential problems affecting service. Discusses issues related to staff, group clients, and other customers with the Director of Admissions and Clinical Operations •Recommends a defensible solution with follow-through and communication to maximize success •Facilitates optimal utilization of space •Effectively markets the hospital to current and potential referral sources •Identifies current and potential customers •Assists in determining unmet or poorly met customer needs and engages in the development of action plans to correct deficiencies •Participates in the development of new product lines and attains agreed upon goals. •Represents Skyline Madison Campus program interests in mental health, workshops, health fairs, etc. •Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the client served in his/her program •Demonstrates competency in interpretation of client’s self-report or behavior related to his/her age •Understands and verifies staff competency addressing the cognitive, physiologic, and psychological and growth and maturational development of the patient as it relates to his/her age. •Verifies staff competency to access age specific data. •Verifies staff competence in the ability to integrate age specific factors into the plan of care and involves the patient and family in the care plan process as appropriate to age. •Verifies staff competence in the ability to identify patient/caregiver learning needs and to access patient’s caregiver knowledge, skill level, and readiness for learning. •Demonstrates appropriate age-related counseling skills •Participates as an individual and a member of a team in providing counseling services, intervention and education related to the treatment process •Implementation of individual teaching plans including patient teaching protocols and discharge plans and appropriate documentation of patient response to the plans. •Facilitates and monitors cognitive-behavioral therapy groups, psycho educational groups, effective individual and/or family counseling and other treatment modalities in accordance with specific program outlines •Facilitates employees’ annual and 30 and 90-day evaluation processes and meets monthly rounding goals •Effectively participates in departmental staff issues related to hiring, terminations and disciplinary actions, consulting with Human Resources as necessary. •Develops, maintains, and updates treatment materials •Demonstrates effective, accurate, pertinent, management of data collected •Collects and maintains data in a timely and accurate manner •Seeks input from Director of Admissions and Clinical Operations variances on unforeseen needs. •Continually updates computer skills and applies efficient innovation with programs used within the department •Generates and / or reviews and distributes client reports as required by Court System, Probation Officers, according to program guidelines •Ensures accuracy of client records, reviews documentation of groups attended, payment status and other client-specific information

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related mental health field required; license preferred • Requires two to five years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably psychiatric in patient experience; or five years post graduate supervised broad clinical experience • Familiarity with required DSM V-R diagnosis, inpatient psychiatric treatment protocols, brief therapy, and chemical dependency intervention knowledge and skills. • Possesses knowledge of medical model, psychotropic medications, familiarity with full range of treatment options and mental health service delivery systems. • Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to advocate for patients in regards to managed care organizations. • 1 year of leadership experience preferred • BLS from the American Heart Association required; CPI within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter required
