As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be automating our environment setup and developing infrastructure as code. This position provides endless career growth using emerging technologies including Cloud, NoSql, Big Data & Analytics, Kubernetes and Cognitive Computing technologies.
We're a focused Agile shop with a strong emphasis on self-managed teams. We care about productivity, not "amount of time your feet are under a desk" so we have flexibility in hours and some amount of working from home.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
Deliver responsive, scalable, and fault tolerant services.
Develop ways to get products into production quicker.
Plan for disaster recovery, high availability and capacity growth.
Provide monitoring and alerting.
Develop repeatable solutions to build out environments.
Generate cool new ideas, never say or think "that's not my job"
Continuously improve yourself and the organization.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system administration, devops, or system engineering.
Experience building infrastructure in AWS or other cloud providers.
A strong desire to automate manual processes.
Experience desired in Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus and other K8s ecosystem.
Experience writing infrastructure as code with tools like Chef or Puppet.
Experience with continuous delivery and build tools.
Strong Linux experience.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python / Ruby / Golang.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Scrum experience is a plus. We also use a variety of technologies including but not limited to Java/Scala, Python, Tomcat, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Nginx, Docker, various AWS tools, and a number of different NoSQL and relational data stores. We don't expect you to know them all, but at least knowing what they are and have a desire to learn is critical.
