We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our established team in Malton as an Apprentice Account Handler where full training will be given as well as training and support to achieve their CII (Certificate in Insurance) which is an internationally recognised qualification.

Over the course of 18 months you will learn about the insurance industry and the responsibilities covering Account Administration and an Account Handling role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate data e.g. membership/products and services

  • Produce and maintain accurate and complete documentation /correspondence in a compliant manner with timescales confirmed by Divisional service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Respond to clients and Sales Executive/Consultant queries in a timely and accurate manner by using and amending standard letter, writing clearly, concisely and professionally.

  • Answer the phone in a professional manner that aims to build rapport with clients, providers and colleagues.

  • Prioritise workload and client requests

  • Ensure all business activity is logged to ensure revenue is accurately recorded

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a working knowledge of the relevant business

  • Build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, providers and colleagues across the Group.
